2:00 pm – 2:45 pm – Best Practices and Ethics with Arthur Freierman, ASCDI Legal Counsel- Arthur Freierman has served as CEO of EU and US corporations. He is a wealth of knowledge on the issues that we all face every day.
Doing business between the EU and the U.S. requires attention to a myriad of details addressing import/export regulations, intellectual property rights, and many other U.S. and EU laws and regulations. Arthur will provide some guidelines to help you navigate in this market. He will also give an overview of the ASCDI Ethics Process.

2:45 pm – 3:30 pm – Business Opportunities from Microsoft- Microsoft has offerings that will enhance the offerings of resellers and tech support companies. Sean Nicholson, OEM Refubisher & Citizenship Manager, will explain how you an become a Microsoft partner and add to YOUR bottom line.
Sean Nicholson
Sean is part of Microsoft’s OEM team and runs their worldwide programs for Refurbishers – Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher (MAR) and Registered Refurbisher Program (RRP). These programs have 5000 partners in 80 countries that are increasing the value of refurbished products they remarket by adding Microsoft software and services. Sean was a member of the R2 2013 standard advisory group and has been working to promote quality reuse and recycling of electronics around the world.

He has since left practicing law to instead help companies navigate the complex world of European regulation as Director of Strategic Relationships at Hume Brophy Brussels, a leading Public Affairs consultancy firm.

Andreas Lund Fibiger
President of Inside Systems, A/S. Andreas has worked in the IT hardware trading industry since 1998 at companies such as Epoka and Ameta. In 2007 he began running Inside Systems, a Denmark based hardware broker. He specializes in the secondary IBM enterprise and storage markets.
