REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., Feb. 5, 2013 – iPass Inc. (NASDAQ: IPAS), the global Wi-Fi roaming leader for enterprises and telecom service providers, today announced that wireless expense and mobility device management pioneer Wireless Analytics has become a partner, reselling iPass Open Mobile Enterprise (OME) Service to its medium to large-size enterprise customers located throughout the Northeast United States.

With this partnership, Wireless Analytics provides its customers (who have a large base of global traveling workforces) the ability to seamlessly connect to the internet and corporate network through more than 1.2 million Wi-Fi access points around the world, including in-flight. iPass OME will be included in the Wireless Analytics “Mobile Management Made Easy” service portfolio and billing administrative support capabilities, making it extremely easy for customers to engage, perform and simplify departmental charge backs and manage their iPass services. The end result is a significant reduction in access costs, improved security and an improved user connection experience for Wireless Analytics’ customers.

“As an iPass partner, Wireless Analytics can now offer our customers access to the iPass network and services to help them manage the influx of mobile devices that are coming into the enterprise and the associated connectivity costs,” said Erik Eames, CEO, Wireless Analytics. “Partnering with iPass is important for Wireless Analytics and our customers because it broadens our current connectivity services, giving our customers access to the world’s largest commercial Wi-Fi network, and therefore broadens the range of solutions we can deliver to our enterprise customers.”

“By working with Wireless Analytics, we are able to add value to their customers when they are working on the move,” said Christophe Culine, senior vice president and general manager, iPass Enterprise. “Wireless Analytics recognizes the growing importance of the mobile office, and by becoming an iPass OME reseller, Wireless Analytics customers have easy access to global wireless connectivity at a predictable cost.”

iPass Open Mobile enables organizations to provide mobile employees with seamless connectivity to the world’s largest commercial-grade Wi-Fi network of more than 1.2 million hotspots including in-flight Internet, hotels, airports and business venues around the world.
