IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 18, 2014 ― Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., Telecommunication Systems Division (Toshiba — www.telecom.toshiba.com) today announced its new “Trade Up with Toshiba” program, enabling trade-in of legacy Toshiba business telephone systems for new Toshiba IP and cloud business telephone solutions at significant savings. Users of Toshiba’s legacy Strata® DK, Strata CTX and Strata CIX systems can trade up to Toshiba’s VIPedge® cloud-based business telephone solution as well as Toshiba’s IPedge® and Strata CIX670 and CIX100 on-premises IP business telephone systems. Available through select Authorized Toshiba Dealers, the “Trade Up with Toshiba” promotion runs through Mar. 27, 2015.

- Trade Up to VIPedge Cloud-based Telephone Solution
When users trade up to Toshiba’s VIPedge cloud-based business telephone solution, they get a free IP5531-SDL telephone for each Toshiba EKT, DKT or IPT1000/2000 series phone or select competitors’ phones traded in. New VIPedge customers can purchase model IP5531 telephones for just $49.99 each.
- Trade Up to IPedge On-premises, Pure-IP Telephone System
When users trade up to Toshiba’s IPedge on-premises business telephone system, they get up to 50 percent off an IPedge user license with Toshiba’s award-winning Call Manager unified communications solution.
- Trade Up to Strata CIX670 On-premises, Converged-IP Telephone System
Users of legacy Strata CTX systems can trade up to Toshiba’s Strata CIX670 R5 and App Server on-premises, converged IP business telephone system and receive $50 Trade-In credit for each Toshiba EKT, DKT or IPT1000/2000 series phone or select competitors’ phones traded in to be used toward the purchase of a new 10- or 20-button Toshiba DP5000 phone.
- Trade Up to Strata CIX100 On-premises Converged-IP Telephone System
Users of legacy Strata CTX systems can trade up to Toshiba’s Strata CIX100 R5 and App Server on-premises, converged IP business telephone system and receive $25 Trade-In credit for each Toshiba EKT, DKT or IPT1000/2000 series phone or select competitors’ phones traded in to be used towards the purchase of a new 10- or 20-button Toshiba DP5000 phone.
