(November12, 2013) – Aastra, a leading company at the forefront of the enterprise communications market, today announced that Telinta, a global leader in cloud-based switching and billing solutions for Internet Telephony Service Providers, has developed Auto-Provisioning Profiles for Aastra’s 6700 series of SIP phones.
Telinta’s Auto-Provisioning Profiles enable ITSPs to quickly automate large deployments of Aastra SIP phones via Telinta’s cloud-based softswitch platform. Telinta’s solution is unique since it enables ITSPs to incorporate phone provisioning and feature activation into other key processes such as billing and customer management, easily managing their business via Telinta’s web-based interface.
ITSPs can easily create their inventory of Aastra phones using Telinta’s carrier-grade VoIP switching platform. When Aastra’s SIP phones are connected to an IP network, they will automatically connect to Telinta’s provisioning servers to instantly download a complete configuration. This automated solution makes large, multi-location deployments fast, easy and accurate, anywhere in the world. Aastra models which are specially optimized for Microsoft Lync can also be deployed with Telinta’s automated solution.
