SCANSOURCE NETWORKING AND SECURITY ENTERS INTO AGREEMENT WITH HEWLETT PACKARD ENTERPRISE TO EXPAND NETWORKING OFFERINGS

Extends existing US relationship with Aruba to deliver complete suite of industry-leading networking solutions to enterprise customers

(NASDAQ: SCSC), announced today that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). By becoming a US Distribution Partner, ScanSource will be able to offer customers an expanded portfolio of networking solutions, including leading wired, wireless, campus, and data center networking solutions, routing and switching, along with network management and security all of which are operated by Aruba following its acquisition by HPE.

As a result of this agreement, all of ScanSource’s US business units will have access to a full line of innovative routing and switching products from HPE Aruba that complement the security cameras, point-of-sale systems, unified communications products and other IP devices that ScanSource has been known for, and resellers will be able to provide a complete solution from the networking closet to the end device. All of this builds upon ScanSource Networking and Security’s value-added services offering, including sales and technical support, configuration services, education and training, which enables resellers to enhance their support to their end-user customers.
