Leon Wheeler, Director of The ICC Group, thinks that as the Covid crises recedes in 2021, companies will be looking to alternatives to the traditional supply chain. The ICC Group is a new member of the ASCDI, but Wheeler’s career spans three decades in the market. In this podcast Wheeler gives us an overview of ICC’s products and services, including being in-stock on secondary market Dell, HPE and IBM, plus services such as maintenance and EOSL (end of service life) for specific major brands. Wheeler discusses supply chain minimalization, a potential reversal of a two-decade trend, for many companies, to become dependent on a just in time supply chain. Covid exposed weaknesses and deficits in that chain, and Wheeler feels that his firm and the ASCDI community represent an alternative source.
