Patton logoMelbourne and Gaithersburg, MD: Patton Electronics (USA) announced today a new partnership with Alloy Computer Products (Australia), on the heels of news that NBN–Australia’s new national fibre-to-the-premise network–is ahead of its latest rollout schedule.

Patton has appointed Alloy as master distributor of Patton’s SmartNode™ VoIP products and BODi rS™ high-availability bonding routers amidst a vibrant IP Communications market in the Australia-New Zealand (ANZ) region.

The future of telephony is in VoIP, according to ITWire. The Patton-Alloy team is well-poised to satisfy ANZ’s growing demand for VoIP-based communication solutions as more and more carriers, service providers and enterprises transition to cloud-based telephony using Voice-over-IP.

“Global adoption of IP telephony is snowballing,” said Bao Vo, Patton’s Asia-Pacific Director. “As a mutual channel partner with 3CX and other players, Alloy is ideally positioned to supply seamless VoIP solutions—with expedited delivery times and enhanced by local training and support—for enterprises of all sizes in all the ANZ territories.”

Patton’s announcement today follows recent news that the company’s business and technology partner 3CX has also teamed up with Alloy.

As a stocking distributor maintaining on-hand inventory, Alloy will provide regional customers with near-immediate delivery of Patton products. Regional professionals will benefit from technical education opportunities as Alloy offers SmartNode Certification courses at their Melbourne training facility.

“We are very excited,” said John Williams, Managing Director at Alloy, “to be appointed by Patton Electronics as their ANZ distributor. Patton have a long history in the telecommunications industry as a truly innovative manufacturer. Our resellers throughout Australia and New Zealand will be very pleased to gain local access to Patton’s high-quality products complimented by Alloy’s comprehensive support services.”

“This is a big day for Alloy,” said Karl Baker, Alloy’s Marketing Director. Patton have a great catalogue of top-quality network connectivity equipment, converged voice and data gateways and routers. Patton products will find a natural home with our Australian and New Zealand resellers. Plus, Patton has a natural synergy with other brands Alloy represents. For example Patton VoIP gateways are fully-integrated with the 3CX software IP-PBX.”
