CRANFORD, NJ – December 03 2012   – Maintech, a leading IT Infrastructure Support Services provider and business unit of Volt Information Sciences, is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Wall Street Rocks Battle of the Bands 2012 Finale event on December 4, 2012 at Irving Plaza in New York City.

Wall Street Rocks aims to raise funds for organizations such as Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) and Reserve Aid. WWP is a nonprofit organization with a mission “to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history.” Their efforts support wounded service men and women to transition into productive and well-adjusted lives as private citizens. They provide need based grants to these military families. In addition, proceeds from this year’s event will also go to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts, with donations going to charities including The Salvation Army and Project Hospitality.

As a division of Volt Information Sciences, Maintech comes from a family of companies dedicated to supporting transitioning U.S. service men and women and their families. Volt is a proud supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project® and also co-founded Hire America’s Heroes in 2007. Volt and its subsidiaries actively hire military veterans transitioning out of active duty into civilian careers as part of its Volt Military Heroes Program.
