NORTH ANDOVER, MA – 08/31/12 – L-com, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, has introduced a new line of HyperLink brand Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) Injector/Midspans with integral power supplies. These devices simplify PoE installations since a separate DC Injector and Power Supply are not required. These all-in-one Injector/Power Supplies are available in 12VDC, 24VDC, 48VDC, and 56VDC voltages.
In addition to the standard desktop type models which are commonly offered in the industry, L-com also offers its new wall mount models. These compact all-in-one Injectors/Power Supplies can be plugged directly into a wall electrical outlet, eliminating the need for additional power cables. This simplicity and size easily fits in crowded spaces such as 120V AC Industrial Enclosures and AC Universal Outlet Enclosures. All models feature built in protection circuits and are either IEEE 802.3af or 802.3af/at compatible depending on the model.
“Everything is getting smaller and tighter when it comes to connectivity,” said Patrick Pesa, L-com’s Director of Product Development. “We are actively working on ways to make the setup of networked equipment smaller and easier for our users so they can maximize the use of their networking equipment spaces.”
All of the new PoE midspans are in stock at L-com’s HyperLink distribution center in Florida, USA, for shipment on the same day that orders are received. The L-com website features free downloads of datasheets, diagrams, and 2D drawings for these products.
