Franklin Furman Passes Away

Former Natd Member Franklin Furman, age 63, passed away on February 14, 2012. Survived by his daughters, Alana Furman and Megan Furman; parents, Leonard and Florence Furman; brothers, Shelby (Jill) Furman and Randall Furman; sister, Barbara (Dr. Stanley) Horowitz; nephews, Zachary and Daniel Furman, Philip and Michael Horowitz and niece, Sarah Horowitz.

Franklin was a graduate of Wayne State University, member of Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity, and an active member of the Columbus Jewish Community.

Funeral services were held  on Wednesday, February 15 at THE EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3232 E. Main St. with Rabbi Chaim Ackerman officiating. Interment New Ahavas Sholom Cemetery. Shiva was observed at the home of Shelby and Jill Furman.

In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Congregation Ahavas Sholom, 2568 E. Broad St., Columbus 43209.
