November 10, 2020 – After a comprehensive review of information security, external auditors issued Axians ICT Austria a certificate according to ISO27001: 2013. The certification certifies that the company meets the strict requirements of the international standard – in terms of the security of IT systems, in the actions of employees and in following defined processes.
The audit is another milestone in the consistent further development of the standards that Axians ICT Austria fulfills as a reliable partner in the provision of cloud managed services. The processes have been compliant with the ISAE3402 standard for 13 years. “As a provider of complex overall services for Austrian and international companies, we manage and operate our customers’ sensitive core applications. With the ISO27001 certification, we have once again proven that we take our responsibility seriously and that we are continuously developing. In order to be successful in the market in the long term, it is crucial for us to place innovative solutions in the various IT areas, but also to continuously improve services, ”explains Vladimir Mlynar, COO at Axians ICT Austria.
The certification is not a one-off process, but a continuous process and includes the introduction, operation and monitoring of a documented information security management system (= ISMS), taking into account the risks within the entire organization. It takes place in two steps by a neutral, accredited certification authority (CIS, Certification Information Security). The focus is on all provided applications, IT systems, processes and services that are provided by internal and external employees.
