Andreas (Andy) Herzog Named to Head Comverse Managed Services Organization

WAKEFIELD, Mass., Aug. 15, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Comverse (Nasdaq:CNSI), the global leader in telecom business enablement, today announced that Andreas (Andy) Herzog has been named to lead the Comverse Managed Services organization.

Mr. Herzog brings to Comverse Managed Services deep knowledge and industry-recognized experience in managed/transformation services, from definition of the value proposition to proactive market creation and development, successful contract acquisition and implementation of a global managed services delivery strategy and structure.

Andreas Herzog has over 25 years of experience in the telecom industry.

He was most recently doing consulting for firms needing transformation and managed services, drawing from his experience and best practices to generate high value for his clients. Prior to this, he served for nearly two decades at Alcatel-Lucent, most recently as the President of the Managed Services Division. Prior to his work at Alcatel-Lucent, Andy served as the Chief Technical Officer for United Telecom Investment (UTI), implementing technical and commercial operations of state of the art fixed telecom networks in Europe. Mr. Herzog was awarded a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Linz in Austria.
