May 24, 2021 – We are delighted to announce the expansion of our senior management team, with the appointments of Mike Angus as our new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Bev Markland as Chief People Officer (CFO), alongside the promotion of Richard Eglon to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
With over 30 years’ experience in senior financial roles, Mike Angus joins Agilitas following a CFO role spanning over 20 years at a leading global security business which involved developing and managing financial budgeting and reporting. During that time, Mike successfully completed and integrated over 12 acquisitions and brings with him extensive experience reporting and presenting to BODs, subcommittees, ownership groups and shareholders. Mike will be harnessing his vision and know-how to support Agilitas in delivering its future growth objectives.
Passionate to be playing a key role in our strategic direction, Mike has commented, “It’s great to be part of the next chapter in Agilitas’ evolution. I’m looking forward to working with an experienced and successful leadership team alongside our investor, Perwyn, as we look to embark on an exciting global growth journey.”
Also joining our leadership team is Bev Markland who has over 20 years’ experience in senior HR management roles. Bev brings extensive knowledge of operating at both strategic and operational levels to support companies, particularly during times of high growth.
Bev will be responsible for all aspects of HR, with a particular emphasis on continuing to drive and progress the company’s People Strategy. As a services business, we recognise that our team members are our greatest asset. As a result, Bev will be working closely with the team to champion recruitment, retention, engagement, motivation and development, in order to secure future success.

I have a huge passion for continuing to develop the strategy and adding to Agilitas’ success from a people perspective. We continue to bolster our C-level team and have recently promoted our Marketing Director, Richard Eglon to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). The appointment comes in line with our European and Global growth strategy, as the business continues to expand, with our third logistics hub set to open later this year.

The new role will be supporting the business in identifying new markets as we expand territories and ensuring our services proposition is aligned with customer demand and market dynamics.”
