“Jim See”, former Repair Center Customer Operations Manager at Quantum has Joined NCE as our new U.S. Repair Center (RC) Operations Manager.
Jim oversaw all the repairs at Quantum as their RC Customer Operations Manager up until December 6th, and will officially start working for NCE in San Diego December 30th. His 20+ years of Repair Center experience includes QA, Inventory Handling from Quantum (Colorado), KLA-Tencor (San Diego), and Spectragraphics Corp/SMS Technologies (San Diego).
Jim is very familiar with establishing and maintaining customer priority backlog reports, material planning (parts/supplies), inventory management, customer communication, capacity requirements, quality assurance practices, and overall management functions. Since October, Jim has visited NCE-US a few times as a customer for the setup of the Quantum transition, so he is already well versed within our repair center and operations. At his new position with NCE, Jim will be overseeing the U.S. Material Control team, U.S. Repair Center team, and our U.S. QA Team.
We’re very happy to welcome Jim to NCE, and we look forward to the perspective and improvements he will undoubtedly bring to the U.S. Repair Center.
