Digital Product Passport (DPP) for sustainable products will become mandatory for sales in Europe – Opportunity and challenge at the same time According to the new European Ecodesign Regulation (ESPR), a mandatory DPP must be provided by the company putting a product into circulation for the first time in the EU. For the first product groups, this starts already in 2027.
