Cambridge, Mass. – July 30, 2013 – Nara Logics, Inc., a computational neuroscience company that provides personalization to deep Web data,  today announced a strategic partnership with Singapore Telecommunications Ltd., Asia’s leading ICT services provider and the world’s second largest wireline and wireless telecom company.  The collaboration between Nara and SingTel will usher in an entirely new category of search with SingTel integrating Nara’s proprietary cloud-based neural network and algorithm into their products – first in Malaysia, followed by Australia and Singapore. By licensing Nara’s technology, SingTel will be able to automate, curate and personalize Web data at Internet-scale.

“We believe that the future of global business is to make more meaning out of data,” said Loo Cheng Chuan, Head (Local Life) of SingTel’s Digital Life division.  “We are investing in emerging technologies and Nara’s cutting-edge platform will help us lead and create serendipitous discoveries for our customers across the globe. Together, we share a commitment to leading web 3.0 through personalization.”

“We are excited to expand Nara’s Neural Network globally and bring our technology to industry leaders like SingTel who want the ability to make a more deep and meaningful connection with their consumers,” said Thomas Copeman, CEO and founder of Nara.  “The Nara platform was designed to handle massive amounts of both structured and unstructured data and provide personalization, thereby architecting the next generation of the web. SingTel has taken a clear leadership position by selecting Nara as their Web Personalization Provider. We are looking forward to a thriving partnership as together we shape the future of personalized search and discovery throughout Asia.”

The “Nara Neural Network” was built under the leadership and vision of a noted MIT neuro-computer scientist, Dr. Nathan Wilson. It is a proprietary system of massive and parallel cloud computing servers that analyze and re-index big data at Internet-scale by emulating human intelligence and computation based on modern neuroscience principals.  Nara’s personalization algorithm works by combining what is right for you with where you are, computing recommendations all around you as you move through space. Currently, the company uses permission-based customer data to help people discover new dining venues based on their unique tastes and preferences.   Nara calls this your Digital DNATM. Nara’s platform will help the telecom company to build their customers’ Digital DNATM and, starting with restaurants, provide personalized recommendations in Malaysia, Australia and Singapore.
