Wrocław, Poland — HitIT Group, an ASCDI member company specializing in IT asset disposition (ITAD) and secure data erasure, has announced the successful completion of a recent end-to-end ITAD project demonstrating its certified, comprehensive service capabilities.

According to Szymon Meryk, Business & Product Development Partner at HitIT Group, the client faced a critical IT asset management challenge involving more than 250 laptops, monitors, docking stations, cables, keyboards, and other IT equipment that had accumulated with limited storage capacity. The project required not only efficient logistics but also certified data erasure to protect sensitive information.

To address the challenge, HitIT Group provided a complete ITAD solution that included secure transportation adapted to building and vehicle restrictions, ADISA-certified data erasure using the company’s proprietary WIPERAPP software, and full documentation for every processed device. Each storage device received an individual erasure certificate, ensuring compliance and a verifiable audit trail.

“All equipment was ultimately recycled in accordance with Polish environmental regulations,” said Meryk. “Our client can now focus on their core business operations with confidence that their data security, environmental, and compliance requirements have been fully met.”
