November 8, 2022 – Agilitas is delighted to announce a string of nominations at the 2022 Women in IT Awards, being named finalists for ‘Employer of the Year’, ‘Diversity Lead of the Year’ and ‘DEI Initiative of the Year’ for Bev Markland, our Chief People Officer (CPO).
Heading into its eighth year, the Women in IT Awards is a platform that showcases the talents of women who are breaking boundaries within the tech sector, with over 1,000 women and organisations celebrated since the conception of the awards in 2015.
Here at Agilitas, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce, discrediting the narrative that the Technology Channel is a predominantly male-dominated industry. Our CPO, Bev Markland, continues to work hard to attract women into the team, resulting in a third of Agilitas’ workforce being female, with this number continuing to grow. As we constantly review how to enhance this process, we are proud that Bev’s continued hard work has been recognised by the Women in IT Awards.
Being amongst the nominees for these awards is an incredible honour and fantastic way to recognise those within Agilitas, who are continuously working to create the most inclusive workforce possible. We strive to remain an inclusive employer, creating a supportive and nurturing environment for our employees. This hard work has contributed to us also being shortlisted as ‘Employer of the Year’, where our cultural vision, ethos and pride values were acknowledged by the judges.
The announcement extends an already successful year of awards for Agilitas, having recently won ‘Best Company to Work For’ at the CRN Sales and Marketing Awards, and receiving two nominations for ‘Marketing Employee of the Year’ and ‘Role Model of the Year’ at the annual CRN Women in the Channel Awards.
