NCE Computer Group (Europe) Ltd has agreed to acquire certain assets and goodwill of Rapid Hardware Solutions Limited, an IT broker and service provider based in Clevedon, North Somerset.
NCE Computer Group (Europe) Ltd., the leading independent provider of IT Enterprise Services and Solutions for storage & datacenter products, based in Wiltshire, United Kingdom, has agreed to acquire certain assets and goodwill of Rapid Hardware Solutions Limited, an IT broker and service provider based in Clevedon, North Somerset. Rapid was founded 16 years ago, and during that time gained a strong reputation for both quality and service delivery.
The acquisition will assist in strengthening NCE’s services portfolio while existing Rapid customers will experience a seamless transition to NCE, with the additional benefit of gaining access to the wide range of quality driven services through a direct business relationship with NCE.

By way of strengthening the NCE team, Rapid Hardware Director Tony Wright will be joining NCE as Purchasing Manager. Tony brings a wealth of experience and knowledge, spanning over 30 years, of purchasing and brokerage in the IT services sector and is sure to become a key team player from the offset.
The acquisition, anticipated to complete in early June 2014, will allow Rapid’s customer base to have instant access to the full range of NCE’s Supply Chain services including; repair & engineering services, spare parts sales, NCE’s nationwide on-site field services, 24/7 technical support, and logistics solutions.
