SUMMARY:The ITAD Association Virtual Event- SOCIAL TIGHTENING- Keep relationships alive while physically distancing
DESCRIPTION:Thom Singer \nIn times of change and uncertainty\, how you connect with people matters more than ever. Society has been heavily impacted by the Coronavirus and the necessary moves to social distancing. But as live gatherings and business meetings stop and people work from home\, human connections become more important than ever. \nThom Singer has spent 15 years teaching people how to connect. As face-to-face events were cancelled\, he knew this was the time to double down on business and personal relationships. Creating plans to keep ties with family\, friends\, coworkers\, customers\, etc…  do not happen by accident. \nSocial Tightening is about how to keep connections active and stay engaged with the people in all aspects of your life. \nMEETING RECORDING \nPRESENTATION \n\n\n\nThis meeting sponsored by:

SUMMARY:New Rules For Doing Business With U.S. Federal Government Agencies
DESCRIPTION:The ITAD Association-FAR-GIDEP-WEBINAR Slides \nThere are recent changes with regard to reporting requirements for counterfeit and non-conforming goods that applies to contractors and subcontractors who deal with the U.S. Government.  The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requires contractors and subcontractors that deal with U.S. Federal agencies to report certain issues regarding counterfeit and non-conforming goods to the Government Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP). \nThis is a culmination of a five-year deliberation process\, begun at the time that the proposed rule change was submitted by the Dept. of Defense. \nIt now will apply to all federal agencies. \nWith the help of Neil Vill from World Data and Keith Gregory from Snell and Wilmer we are putting on a 1 hour webinar explaining the changes and how it effects those doing business with the US Government. \nThere is no charge for The ITAD Association educational event.

SUMMARY:The ITAD Association-Las Vegas 2018
DESCRIPTION:The ITAD Association will be holding our Fall Membership meeting in coordination with BrokerBin* on the afternoon before their Vegas Roadshow followed by a special dinner reception on the Park Terrace and optional late-night Beatles Love show. \nWe have been working on modifying our agenda to best focus on things that will best address the concerns of our members in today’s ITC world. One such concern is the issue of importing goods from outside the US and the effects that the newly imposed tariffs have. To that end\, we have added a Keynote Speaker\, who is a former Assistant US Secretary of Commerce who focused on trade issues and we have put together an all-star panel to discuss the issue. We have also added a new business opportunity in the storage market and will be discussing counterfeit\, legislative issues and ITAD. More information on topics and speakers can be found on our website. \n*We thank BrokerBin for working with us to reduce your travel expenses and time out of the office.*
