Dave Cummings

Managing Partner | Agile Equity

David Cummings has been a co-founding Managing Partner of Agile Equity since 1998. Mr. Cummings is responsible for the strategic development and continued expansion of the firm’s investment banking business, including sourcing and executing both domestic and International transactions in IT services, software and healthcare industries. Mr. Cummings has over eighteen years of corporate finance experience through a diverse background in mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing activities. Mr. Cummings has successfully completed over one-hundred M&A transaction with several billion dollars of enterprise value for both privately held and large multinational public companies. In addition, he has authored numerous corporate finance articles for various professional journals, magazines and periodicals. Previously, Mr. Cummings spent seven years as a Vice President and Officer with Fleet Financial Group where he developed acquisition and divestiture strategies that contributed to the bank’s growth. Mr. Cummings began his career with State Street Research & Management as an equity analyst specializing in software technology. Mr. Cummings has a Bachelors of Sciences Degree in Business Administration and Management and has completed post graduate work at New York University, Stern School of Business in New York City.

Todd Bone

Todd founded XS International in 1990, helping to build an independent IT support & R2v3-certified ITAD organization. He holds board of director positions with the world’s two most prominent associations for independent IT support providers – SIA – the Service Industry Association (TPM), and ASCDI (ITAD). In addition, he was a founding member of the Digital Right to Repair Coalition (now known as Repair.org) and continues to serve on their Board of Directors. As an Entrepreneur, Todd has founded, built, and sold three IT companies. As a hobby, Todd enjoys working with winemakers to produce wines. Todd earned his Bachelor’s in Finance from Ohio State University and spent 20 years in the Entrepreneurs Organization, including a leadership position as President of the Atlanta EO Chapter. He now resides in the greater Dallas area with his family.

At SERI, I focus on awareness, education and implementation of practical aspects of the R2 Certification program. I also contribute to SERI's ongoing work by monitoring global developments in sustainability and emerging technologies. Before SERI, I had 10 years of practical experience with the R2 Recycling Standard as a Compliance Manager for two electronics recyclers in the U.S. Midwest. I also served for six years on the Technical Advisory Committee for SERI, two as Co-Chair, working on the development and release of the R2v3 Standard.

Steve Mellings

Steve is the founder of ADISA which is a UK government recognised certification program for data processors focusing specifically on the area of ICT asset disposition. With over 20 years’ experience working with some of the largest blue-chip companies in the world and with leading OEM, Steve is an internationally recognized expert on data protection with a specialist field of data processor management. Steve founded ADISA in 2010 to address poor risk management taking place within the IT Asset Disposal process. The ADISA Industry Standard was released in 2011 to focus on the service of asset recovery and currently has certified sites in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. The ADISA product certification program was launched in 2012 to focus on the tools which sanitize media and is the only program worldwide to confirm overwriting claims on solid state and other flash media. Through this program ADISA works with vendors throughout the world including China, Israel, India, UAE as well as recognized brands in Europe and the United States. In 2012 Steve worked with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office and wrote much of the ICO guidance notes which were released to help businesses comply with data protection legislation in this area. Steve is also the author of the National Computer Centre (NCC)’s guidance notes on how to manage risk when disposing of assets. In 2015, Steve was shortlisted for the Personal Contribution to IT Security Award from the Computer Security Magazine and ADISA won the award for Education and Training Provider of the Year. ADISA was also shortlisted for the UK Compliance Award in 2018. In 2019, ADISA launched the ADISA Research Centre which is the only forensic laboratory in the world, focused on data sanitization which further enhances ADISA’s ability to speak with authority on IT asset disposal. ADISA won the UK Compliance Company of the Year at the 2019 Computer Security Magazine Awards.
