Many members of the ASCDI are IT hardware resellers who use both the manufacturers and independent maintenance companies to service their end-user customers and to maintain account control. Maintenance companies join the ASCDI to do business with the resellers.
A healthy and vital maintenance industry is critical to the health and vitality of hardware resellers.
The ASCDI Maintenance Committee has two important roles.
First, the Maintenance Committee assists resellers in identifying quality maintenance companies who are able to support specific hardware platforms for the resellers.
Second, the maintenance companies themselves network, promote business amongst each other (sub-contract relationships), and share in identifying common concerns, goals and knowledge.
