Ray joined IBM in 2006 based in Melbourne , having spent more than 15 years in Business Intelligence and Analytics, working with numerous vendors as well as consulting firms such as Andersen Consulting, KPMG and BearingPoint Prior to joining IBM Watson, Ray was responsible for IBM’s Big Data and Analytics practice across Australia and New Zealand. Ray graduated with a Masters degree in Computer Science and Management Information Systems.Ray will outline IBM’s view of the Cognitive Business era and how IBM is creating and engaging with an ecosystem of channel partners to reinvent the way work is done across many industries. Throughout, Ray will present case studies of how IBM is using Watson to improve business outcomes for clients.

Having worked with Australia’s most prestigious media networks, and advertising agencies she has become a leading specialist in customer experience and digital marketing.

This involves finding and enabling new sales channels outside IBM, broadening the range of products redeployed inside IBM and minimising the costs associated with processing every asset.

sydney3:00 PM – 6:30 PM – Afternoon Networking Event – Sydney Harbour Cruise.  The cruise embarks from Commissioner Steps at Circular Quay.  If you miss us in the lobby at 3:00 PM, head there.  We leave at 3:30 PM.  The Seawind Catamaran will take you on a beautiful cruise around the Sydney Harbour.  Delicious food, wine and beer will be served.
