-MSQ (Maintenance Service Qualification)
•The status assigned to a machine that has been tested, deinstalled, and packaged by IBM with security materials ("banding & sealing").  Started 4/1/94.
-ITD (Invisible Transit Damage)
•A machine failure brought about by an internal cause on an MSQ'd machine (card fails, etc).
•ITD is not visible transit damage, warehouse or water damage.
•ITD is conditioned on IBM M/S starting immediately afterwards, except if “Wayside Exception" (W/E) applies.
•W/E – MSQ process at a wayside, where M/S req’t waived, but reinstall contract must be signed before ITD replacements.
